Visitor Information

We want to ensure that all visitors to the Central Bedfordshire Dog Show 2013 have a great day, and that the whole family enjoy the show. 

To help ensure you have a great day we have put together the following information for you.
Admission
Admission to the show is free.

Car Parking
Limited car parking for non dog exhibitors and general show visitors is available on a first come, first served basis, this parking is free. When this is full the nearest parking is by the Co-Op in Houghton Regis or by Bedford Square, Houghton Regis.

Disabled Visitors
A limited number of disabled car parking spaces are available on the show ground, these are issued on a first come, first served basis.

Bus Travel
For visitors travelling by bus, the Arriva 38 bus stops at Bedford Square, about 3 minutes walk from the show ground. This is a regular and frequent service between Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Luton.

Show Opening
The show opens at 10am and dog judging starts at 11am. The show will finish approximately 4pm.

Toilets

There are full toilet facilities in the main pavilion on the show ground. These include disabled toilet facilities.

Catering

There are catering and food outlets in the "Food Area" of the show ground. You are of course able to bring your own food or picnic if you prefer.

Alcohol

Please note the show ground is an alcohol free zone, and no alcohol may be brought onto, purchased or consumed on the premises.

Litter And Rubbish
Please dispose of any litter or rubbish in the bins provided.

Seating

You are advised to bring your own chairs as none are provided by the organisers.

Wet Weather
Please be aware that this is an outdoor show, and as such there is no wet weather provision. Please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear.

Banking Facilities
There is a cash machine at the Co-Op store  opposite the show ground and another cash machine at the Natwest branch in Bedford Square, Houghton Regis a short walk from the show ground. For opening hours, please contact the providers directly.

Children
Children are of course welcome, but must be supervised by an adult at all times and the organisers and parents are responsible for any damage or nuisance caused by children in their care.

Lost Children
Visitors who lose children should go to the organisers office at the Pavilion.

Lost Adults
It is suggested that visitors arrange to meet by the organisers office at the Pavilion on the show ground if they lose touch with their family or friends.

First Aid
A First Aid post is located by the food outlets, manned by the British Red Cross for the duration of the shows opening.

Merchandise
Official show merchandise and programmes are available from the Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust stand located by the pavilion.

Sale Of Goods
The organisers or its agents, do not endorse any product or service advertised by a trade stand holder, advertiser or sponsor. Any contract of sale is solely between yourself and the seller.


Filming & Photography

Commercial cinematography and television equipment may only be used at the show if press accreditation has been issued by the organisers, and you have reported to the Press Office in the pavilion.

The organisers are happy for you to take photos and videos during your visit for your own personal use as souvenirs of your day at the show.  We are happy for you to put your show videos on YouTube, Facebook or any other social media sites.   However, there are certain restrictions on the use of cameras for still photography and private video films for more information you should check at the Press Office in the Pavilion on arrival. 


Filming & Photography will take place throughout the duration of the show and across the whole show area. This is for a promotional film and pictures for the Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust, to be shown and used at events and activities of the Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust. Images may also be used in specialist, local and national media and on the internet, and a variety of other media types. Entry to the show is on condition that you agree and understand that your picture may be used and taken as detailed above.

The press office and organisers office is located in the Pavilion.
